Cornwall Anime Screening - July 7, 2010 - Launceston

It's that time again! Nominate the films and episodes you would like to be put to the vote for July's screening.

In order to nominate something you must have it (or definitely be able to borrow it) on DVD. Alternatively, you can nominate something which someone has posted on these forums saying they own. Please make your suggestions by the end of the weekend so they can be put to the vote.

I would like to put forward the suggestions of Appleseed for the film and Gunslinger Girl for the series.

Thanks!

Thanks.

Someone has suggested watching four episodes next time instead of one film and one episode. What does everyone reckon?

If your thinking of 4 episodes we could always watch a OVA of some kind?

As for films, I still want to see the Rahxephon movie or Paprika would be good. if people are after something lighter hearted than last time I have Ruin Explorers?

Jade do you know if the DVD player can play DVD's from other regions? a few of mine are American and Australian...

Or how about Bubblegum Crisis 2032 or Vandread?

Just so much to choose from

I don't I'm afraid. I'll take an American DVD to test next time. Thanks for your suggestions.

I've added a poll about the structure of the next screening. Please vote for your preferred option.

Hmm sort of depends on what the film or episodes is/are.

Have you got any ideas as to what they might be?

Oh that is a better idea,

Um if you would be wanting me to bring along any of those titles, is the player a all region one? a few of my DVDs are odd regions but I guess we can worry about that later
